Use of the AlabamaHometown.com (hereinafter “Alabama Hometown) website and its services are subject to the following Terms of Use Agreement.  Please read the following carefully BEFORE using this website.  If you do not agree to the terms of use, please exit the website immediately.

The purpose of this site is to promote businesses in and around Central Alabama.  Alabama Hometown provides you with access to a variety of services, including but not limited to, advertisements by Central Alabama for-profit and/or non-profit organizations.  All services offered through this site are governed by this Terms of Usage Agreement. 

Restricted Use

The Alabama Hometown website posts advertisements of Registered Users.  Registered Users are those that have provided Alabama Hometown with required contact information, Participation Agreement, and have agreed to the terms and conditions offered by Alabama Hometown for posting on its website.

Approved Registered Users may provide users of the website with a link to their website and/or printable coupons for use at their business.  Registered Users agree to provide accurate and complete identifying information to Alabama Hometown, our partners and affiliates.  We reserve the right to restrict the use of this website to persons or entities that do not comply with the Terms of Use Agreement.  Registered Users warrant and represent that you are the rightful owner or licensee of the rights to content provided to Alabama Hometown.

Alabama Hometown may include links to other websites as a convenience to users, but this in no way is meant to imply Alabama Hometown’s endorsement of that organization or the material provided by those websites.  Alabama Hometown provides such links to its users to enhance their web browsing experience and is not responsible for the materials contained at any website linked to this website.

Alabama Hometown reserves the right to make changes to its website and revise the Terms of Use Agreement at any time.  In the event changes are made to the Terms of Use Agreement, said changes will be posted on this website.

Registered Users information will be stored in a password protected database by our web host provider.  Your information may be removed from our database upon the expiration of your contract or your contract is cancelled. 

The Information We Collect

Alabama Hometown also gathers general non-personally identifiable information from Registered and Non-Registered Users of our website.  The information we collect includes website statistics to determine how many people have visited our website, what pages were viewed and what links they clicked on.  The data is reviewed collectively and not individually.  We may also use statistical rankings about our customers for advertisers, sponsors and other companies in which we do business.  These statistical rankings do not contain any personally identifiable information.

We do use cookies.  We do collect IP Addresses of our website visitors.  We do not use Third Party Advertiser cookies.  We may use Advertising Research cookies.  Cookies are pieces of data sent to your web browser from a web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive for record keeping purposes.  This date can enable us to track and target the interests of our users to better enhance their experience on our site.  If you prefer, you can set your browser to notify you when you have received a cookie or refuse to accept cookies.  If you elect not to receive cookies you may not be able to utilize certain features contained in this website.

The information we collect will be used primarily to better the users’ experience with the website and assist Alabama Hometown better provide services to its users.  From time to time, Alabama Hometown may send newsletters and/or emails to its Registered Users.

We use the information you provide about yourself or your organization when placing an order for our services only to complete that order.  Your personal information will not be shared with third parties, unless to complete that order.
